3:00 Introduction to the Gwynns Falls *. Learn about the ecology of the Gwynns Falls which flows past Windsor Hills on its way from Reisterstown to Baltimore Harbor. Will include up close and personal using hand lenses (magnifying glasses) as we see what lives in the Gwynns Falls and what that says about the health of the stream. David Hollander, former president of the Gwynns Falls Watershed Association in cooperation with Blue Water Baltimore will be conducting this program. *involves Trail Walk closed toe, sturdy shoes advised. This site will be just downstream from the Mill Ruins Program so Participants at the Mill Ruins Program can just walk 10 minutes on the trail to get there. Additional participants will also start down from the information table at the trailhead meadow at 3:00. The program will start by the stream about 3:15.
